Full Description
Watermill in Shotwick parish. Mentioned 30 Edward I (1302) in the Plea Rolls (1). Mill field names from the Tithe map suggest the location (2). However Norris states that Shotwick mill is recorded as having had one of the finest dams on the Peninsula & that it may have been a tide mill before the silting up of the Dee estuary (3).
