The colliery is not depicted on this map. The plot is known as Big and Little Talk Hurst.

This map depicts Talkhurst Coal Pit. The map depicts a large irregular earthwork which is presumably spoil associated with the excavation of the mine. The map depicts a single shaft (labelled shaft) with a group of buildings to the immediate east-south-east. A further smaller building is located to the north, and a possible pond and pump, to the north-east. A tramway runs south-east from the shaft along a possible linear embankment to Congleton Road, and ultimately, to the nearby Slappenfield Coal Pit in Staffordshire. A further linear earthwork is located to the immediate south-west of this embankment.

This map depicts earthworks associated with the colliery and tramway. The shaft is labelled Old Shaft. The buildings and tramway are no longer extant.
