Full Description
Farm building attached to Grig Hill Farmhouse, Fowlers Bench Lane. Formerly cottage and barn, now farm buildings. Late C17 with C20 alterations. Irregular red sandstone blocks and some timber-framing. Corrugated iron over thatch. L-shaped plan. One and two storey, two bay front. Right end bay under coped gable on kneelers has two openings with board doors, left end has some timer-framing and a board door. Far end gable also coped and kneelered. Interior: End wall of timber framed portion in rubble and stone. Roof repaired but with cleft rafters (1).
