Full Description
Ols quarry marked on the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25 inch to 1 mile maps (1). Two small quarries are shown in this location on the Tithe map for the township. The norhern most is in a plot called Timbers Brook Common. The southerrn quarry is listed as common. located on common land (2). The quarry may have been re-opened as a source of stone for Timbersbrook House (to the immediate west) or landscaped as part of it's gardens (3).
