Monument record 2515/29/0 - Leftwich Salt Works

Salt Works marked on the Ordnance Survey 1:500 town plan of Northwich and the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25inch to 1 mile maps. It is also marked on the First and Third Editions of the Ordnance Survey 6inch to 1mile maps, however it is marked as disused on the Third edition so it is unknown as to how long it operated. The site also contains four brine cisterns [CSMR: 2515/29/1-4] and a Smithy [CSMR: 2515/5/0].
