This map depicts the Baronsquay Salt Works. There are few buildings, but a smithy is depicted, along with eight seemingly open air salt pans.

On this map, the area depicted as the salt works on later maps, is recorded as Balance Quay and a timber yard.

The salt works is no longer depicted. The northern part of the site forms part of the Barons Quay and Baronsquay Mine.
