Brickfield marked on the First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch to 1 mile Lancashire Maps. It is also marked on the Second Edition of the 6 inch to 1 mile Ordnance Survey Maps. Brickfields were where clay was both extracted and fired to produce bricks.
