Full Description
Alkali Works marked on the 1:540 Town Plan of Widnes and on the First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch to 1 mile Lancashire Maps. It is also marked on the Third Edition of the 6 inch to 1 mile Ordnance Survey Maps. It is possible that this is the site of the United Alkali Co Chemical Works [CSMR: 4241/1/0] that is mentioned in (4).
