Sulphur and Copper Works marked on the 1:540 Town Plan of Widnes and on the First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch to 1 mile Lancashire Maps. It is also marked on the Second Edition 6 inch to 1 mile Ordnance Survey Maps.
The 25 inch maps show a Timber Yard in the North end of the site.
