Full Description
Old Quarry [and hence probably disused] marked on the First Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch to 1 mile Lancashire Maps and the 1:540 Town Plan of Widnes. It is marked on the First Edition Ordnance Survey 6 inch to 1 mile Lancashire Maps as a sandstone quarry and so was probably in use at the time of this survey. It is also shown on the Second Edition and Third Edition 6 inch Ordnance survey maps.
