Full Description
Victoria Salt works run by Brunner Mond and Co LTD, H M Factory. Operating during World War 1 producing Ammonium Nitrate and Calcium Nitrate Tetrahydrate (1). It is probably the Winnington Salt Works which is present from the OS 1st edition, however it is then called the Brunner Works. There is a Victoria Salt Works nearby at SJ6778975042 however this is some distance away from the point given in (1).
