Site Event/Activity record ECH7231 - The Limes, Lower Park Road, Chester, Cheshire, CH4 7BB: Archaeological Watching Brief

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in 2023 on land at The Limes, Lower Park Road, Chester, Cheshire, CH4 7BB. It was found that the site likely had endured many years of landscaping in the 20th century, although some soils pertaining to an earlier phase of land use were present on site and these, though archaeologically inert, did seem to indicate a historic sloping of the ground downhill towards the river in a direction of south to north.
