Description
An historic environment desk-based assessment was produced in 2022 for land south-west of Hebden Green, Winsford, proposed for the construction of solar PV array with associated infrastructure. The Site comprises an area of some 24.5ha wholly or partly occupying nine field units. Woodford Hall, which is Grade II Listed, lies approximately 190m to the north. The historic landscape character of the site falls within the broad HLC type Post Medieval Fieldscapes, although there are some remnant fields of medieval ridge and furrow in the surrounding area.
