Description
A level 2 building survey was undertaken in 2007 for the farm buildings at The Royals Farm in advance of conversion of redundant buildings. The farmhouse dates to the late 1820's and other farm buildings include probable mill, a cart shed, a probably threshing barn with a later cottage incorporated into the centre of the range, also stables. The Royals was a livestock farm which had many features characteristic of nineteenth century planned farm construction or model farms. (1)
