Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in advance of the construction of a new wastewater treatment works in Audlem, Cheshire, from the 20th to the 23rd of May 2022. The works identified a backfilled area of rubble associated with railway sidings from the Great Western Railway, and two small pit-like features also likely to be contemporary with the railway. (1)
