Description

19th century parkland designed by Edward Kemp, Superintendent of Birkenhead Park, with Neo-classical modern house and ancillary buildings replacing the Victorian Hall. Original drawings for the park, gardens, and garden buildings by Kemp survive. Principal remaining features Park Individual parkland trees, tree clumps and tree belts covered by TPO 457 Groups of trees on boundaries of park 2 small ponds linked to Bridgewater Canal Entrance lodge
