Description
A site visit was undertaken in March 2021 to a development at Corner Croft, Green Lane, Alderley Edge, SK9 7UW, comprising the construction of a new dwelling. The site is located immediately to the west of Chorley Old Hall and its associated moat and fishponds which are scheduled. The trenches for the development were inspected but no features of interest were identified, although a few nineteenth century bottles were present. (1)
