Description

A mid 18th century house by James Gibbs, listed Grade I, with walled garden, lake and parkland which includes the site of a monastic grange set within a moat. Belmont Hall is now partly occupied by a private school who are tenants and have playing fields within the estate. Half of the walled garden is in the ownership of Garden Cottage. The ornamental lake and pools are used for fishing under licence to Lymm anglers. There is a small caravan and camping touring site near the old stables.
