Site Event/Activity record ECH6683 - Mobberley Primary School: Archaeological Watching Brief

In 2014 an informal watching brief was undertaken by Matrix Archaeology at Mobberley Primary School during groundworks for a classroom extension. The development had been recommended for a watching brief due to the proximity of the short-lived alien priory at Mobberley (CHER 1248/2/0), however, the fact that work started unexpectedly, meant that a formal watching brief, supported by a project design, was not possible. There is no report documenting the results, however, no archaeological deposits were encountered.
