Description

Report produced in January 2019, by Zoe Polya-Vitry, in support of the proposal to re-develop the derelict stable yard at Dorfold Hall into a wedding venue. The Coach House, and brick façade of the stables, are still standing structures, and the proposal is to incorporate these into a cluster of buildings. The stables were linked to the Cheshire Hunt, established in 1768, and accordingly were an important part of life at Dorfold Hall until the twentieth century when they were largely demolished. (1)
