Description

Summary Inglewood House was built c.1860, with a garden designed by Edward Kemp. In 1915 the house was rebuilt or substantially modified in an Arts and Crafts style when Thomas Mawson reputedly designed the terraces and possibly other elements of the gardens. The property is now a country house hotel. Principal remaining features House, listed Grade II Stables – converted to offices Terraces, listed Grade II Pergola Walls, gate piers and gates surrounding the formal garden Three original walls of the kitchen garden with bothy/potting sheds Gate piers to original drive Two summerhouses and a boathouse Pond, formal pool and fishing pond Beech Avenue
