Description
Survival - Villa garden by Edward Kemp, Superintendent of Birkenhead Park. Designed as an adjoining pair of gardens with Redcliff to the east. Limegrove now in divided ownership, but survival good.
Previous form – Single drive entered from west. Rear garden was a grass slope from the house to the edge of the sandstone cliff.
Current form – Additional drive to east side of house added after house divided. Post-division changes: rear garden now in two terraces linked by steps and garage block added.
