Description
A desk-based assessment was undertaken in October 2017 for land to the the north-west of Tattenhall, Chester (NGR SJ 48341 58868) in advance of a residential development. It concluded that there were no known archaeological features or heritage assets within the application boundary. The site appears to have lay on the outskirts of the historic core of the village of Tattenhall, and ridge and furrow cultivation is visible on 1940's air photographs. (1)
