Description
Photographs from the time of construction of the Mercia Centre on Frodsham Street. Mercia Centre was a shopping precinct with underground service bay. It was built in 1970 and demolished in 1990 . Photographs show the depth of the construction excavation undertaken both before the construction of the Mercia centre and before the rebuilding of the area in the 1990s.
