Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in August 2017 at Upton Grange, Duttons Lane, Upton, to monitor the erection of a new steel portal framed building for the housing, feeding and milking of cattle. Despite the proximity of the development to the scheduled moated site at Upton Grange, and also six Roman camps located within 1.5km of the site, no archaeological remains or artefacts were recorded during the scheme of works.
