Description
This report considers the nature of the significance of the Knutsford Sessions House, including an analysis of its development and change. It also assesses the degree and nature of the potential impact on the significanceof the proposal for the conversion and extension of the Knutsford Sessions House, a grade II* listed building. The Historical background of the sessions house in summarised in the heritage assessement. The assessement is concerned primarily with the listed building and does not consider below ground archaeological potential. The report does contain useful maps and illustration of the gaol buildings prior to their demolition.
