Site Event/Activity record ECH6248 - Archaeological Desk Based Asssessment. Bishops Bluecoat C of E High School, Chester

An archaeological assessment to identify the nature, extent and significance of the archaeological resource in this area. The assessment found that the school may lie within the boundary of a Roman Cremation Cemetery. The area remained rural until the late 20th century with very little development, therefore there is also the potential for remains relating to Medieval agriculture to survive.
