Description
Wardell Armstrong Archaeology was commissioned to undertake an archaeological evaluation at land at Townsfield Road, Winsford. This work was required as a condition of the planning consent for the proposed residential development at the site. The evaluation was undertaken in a single phase over five days from 08/06/2015 to 12/06/2015 and comprised 12 trenches 30m in length excavated across two fields. No archaeological remains were observed. (1)
