Site Event/Activity record ECH6078 - Heritage Appraisal: Land Opposite Joy Lane WA5 4AH

Heritage assessment produced by Cotswold Archaeology in February 2015 on behalf of Solar Energy Parks Ltd in relation to a proposed solar development at a site adjacent to Joy Lane, Burtonwood, Warrington. No heritage assets are currently recorded within the proposed development site and, on the basis of available information, it is considered unlikely that remains of prehistoric or Roman-British date will be found within proposed development area. From the medieval period onwards the site appears to have formed part of the rural hinterland of Burtonwood and its agricultural use appears to have persisted into modern times.
