Description

Nos. 67-69 Bridge Street Row is a late-17th century brick-built Grade II listed town house in the middle of historic Chester. Although clearly built as a house it has been in commercial use for many years. There are now proposals to convert the three upper floors into spacious one bedroom residential apartments. As there will be some minor changes to the building, which is within the city centre conservation area, this Consultancy has been commissioned to undertake a heritage impact assessment under the guidance of the National Planning Policy Framework. It concludes that the changes are fairly minor, proportionate, and will have little or no significant impact on the fabric, character or significance of the listed building or any other designated or nondesignated heritage assets.
