Description
Research and recording of an early victorian hall with parkland. Gateposts to the carriage drive survive but the original lodge house has been demolished. The drive follows its original layout and is now tarmac. The original service wings to the north if the Hall remain but have also been built around. Various out buildings survive as well as parts of the Brick boundary wall. Parts of which are painted suggesting the location of glasshouses. Inventory of 1913 identifies tree species and garden buildings including stove house, small carnation house, lean to vinery, peach house and rose house. Formal gardens cannot be as additional buildigns occupy these areas.
