Heritage assessment carried out prior to proposed internal and external alterations associated with conversion to apartments, demolition of 1970s wing and replacement by apartments building. Assessment considers that the majority of the proposals aspects will preserve the character and significance of the listed building, Others involve less than substantial harm which must be balanced against returning the building to a viable use consistent with its conservation. The character of the conservation area will be preserved.
