Environmental statement with a Cultural Heritage Chapter and Desk based Assesment. Deak based assessment concludes that the assesment area contains no scheduled monuments of listed buildings and therefore the proposed development will cause no direct physical impacts to designated assetts. However two Scheduled monuments of a of a high sensitivity and a listed building of medium sensitivity are located within the stidy area )25m buffer) for which there is a potential for impacts on setting. The majority of known sites within the assessment area are of low sensitivity being relativiley common 18th century rural structures. On the basis of cartographic and aerial photogrpahic sources it is likely that the proposed development will impact a number of known areas of ridge and furrow and will cross a number of historic hedgerows. In addition the following areas of potential sensitivity may be disturbed by the proposals 1. The NTS compound will be located within 50m of King Street Roman Road which may have associated archaeological deposits nearby 2. Wellhead H508 and pipeline will be located within 50m of Drakelow Hall moated site, fishponds and moated enclosure. It is also possible that the buried remains of associated medeival buildingss may exisit outside the moat in this area. 3. Wellhead H501 and associated access track and pipelines will fall within Brick Kiln field (Site 15)
