Description
A resistance survey was carried at the Poulton project in 2001 to re-evaluate and extend previous resistivity work carried out in 1995 and 1997. Work on the 1997 season had indicated the presence of a large rectilinear feature about 60m north of the chapel site, which was Consistent with a large building shown on a map of the area dating back to the 17th century. A number of features were noted in the 2001 survey including linear features possible ditches, rubble spreads and a hexagonal feature.
