Description
Appraisal of the archaeological potential of land required for a proposed pipeline routh south of Bramhall Oil terminal in Stockport. Diversion is necessitated by the proposed construction of the A6 to Manchester airport relief road. The very nort eastern end of the prposed route lies within Cheshire East. Recommended that Hedgerow on historic township boundary of Woodford, Poynton and Bramhall be recorded in section prior to construction. Also roman road o to be recorded in section.
