Description
Programme of archaeological evaluation of a 1.02ha development area. 9 trenches ecavated targetting field boundaries and outbuildings depicted on the first and 3rd OS 25" maps. No preserved archaeological remains of note discovered. Finds assemblage reflects post medieval activity within the visinty of the site/ Pottery and glass heavily weighted to 19th century with only a small cumber of sherd of earlier date. Assemblage is predominantly domestic in character. Recommended no further archaeological mitigation or assessment required on site.
