Description
Preliminary baseline heritage assessment along the route of a proposed link road joining the west of Congleton to the north and bypassing the town centre. The route corridor is currently primarily agricultural land with some ponds and woodland areas. A total of 26 archaeological remains including 1 scheduled monuments were identified as being directly affected by the proposals.
