Description

Archaeological recording carried out during work to underpin the near wall of the house where it overlay the soft fills of the former creek and during the cutting of foundations for a new extension. A series of holes were dug under archaeological observation. Only limited Roman and post medieval finds were recorded although a circular brick built well head of probable post medieval date was also encountered
