Description
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken between the 6th July and 20th August 2009 on the prehistoric hill top enclosure known as Woodhouse Hillfort, Woodhouse Hill, Frodsham, Cheshire (SM 25694) NGR SJ 5107 7573. The work was undertaken by the Habitats and Hillforts of Cheshire’s Sandstone Ridge Landscape Partnership Project. The aims of the evaluation were to assess the impact of the present management regime on any surviving archaeological resource within the site.
