Description

An archaeological evaluation was undertaken during May 2010 on the prehistoric hill top enclosure known as Kelsborrow Castle, Castle Hill Farm, Delamere, Cheshire, (SM 30375) NGR SJ 5317 6752. The work was undertaken by the Habitats and Hillforts of Cheshire’s Sandstone Ridge Landscape Partnership Project. The aims of the evaluation were to characterise the archaeological resource and assess the impact of the present management regime within the site.
