Description
limited watching brief on foundation trenches for stables to the rear of Bank House. New foundation trench was L5.4m x W0.6m x D0.9m.
Several large sandstone blocks in the spoil. A dark homgoneous soil layer Possible Post Medeival) lay below a layer of hardcore, brick and sandstone.
