Site Event/Activity record ECH5500 - Desk Based Assessment for Land at Tall Trees Malpas

Desk-based assessment including an assessment of the historic landscape as recommended by the Cheshire HLC Project. The majority of the site has the HLC Project classification of Medieval Townfields and the report identifies the historic boundaries and suggests the public footpath running across the site has medieval origins. The report hightlights the potential for surviving medieval archaeology on the site and the lower potential of pre-historic and Roman remains to survive.
