Description
As part of the ongoing investigation into the condition and repair of the medieval Walls, a series of investigations were carried out for engineering purposes during 2010. One such location was immediately north of the Eastgate. The investigations did not record Roman remains but rather evidence of 18th century rebuilding along this section no later than 1768.
