Description
Archaeological evaluation on site of proposed residential development at Sea Bank, Middlewich revealed deep accumulations of material which appears to have accumulated in the valley of the croco. The material was interspesed in places with layers of alluvial sand. Poorly dated archaeological features were identified beneath this material cut into the natural boulder clay.
