Description

A reference to a second altar recovered from the Cherry Orchard site in 1849 by T Wood (1) (2). The altar is reported to have been found on Tarvin Rd., near Buckley St. (3). Watkin also reports evidence of a possible Roman road at this location. (4) Tarvin Road, Boughton, 1849: small altar recorded (5)
