Description

Watching brief carried out has revealed the presence of significant modern disturbance from services however a Roman rock lined gutter running along the south side of the street. A remarkable discovery from the silt infill of the drain was an intact fourth century black burnished ware jar. A Victorian sewer was also recorded.
