Description
A one day excavation by the Explorer's Club during the museum's closure for its access scheme. Foundations of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century outbuildings including two internal rooms and a drain. A small group of post medieval finds including clay tobacco pipes, pottery, window glass and metal fragments. A subsequent watching brief was planned.
