Description

Geophysical survey carried out in conjunction with the Chester Archaeological Society at the site of the 18th century Cheese warehouse at the Old Port (1). Five trenches excavated by Keith Matthews on the site of a 19th century cheese warehouse and garden, they revealed evidence of a primarily 20th century date (3).
