Description

Survey of a cellar at 29 Lower Bridge Street including an eighteenth century well preserved bread oven (1). The house itself is seventeenth century in date. In an alleyway on the outside of the property five courses of a roughly dressed sandstone wall can be seen which may indicate a medieval origin for at least part of the building (3).
