Description

Watching brief undertaken on the site of a proposed new doctors surgery at Chester Royal Infirmary near to the Roman cemetery excavated by Prof Newstead in 1912. Small quantities of Roman and post medieval pottery and tile were recovered however substantial modern disturbance was also noted (1).
